Pastor Brian Overturf · Preaching & Teaching
God’s Word.
God’s Glory.
I’m Pastor Brian Overturf. I serve Arvin Assembly of God and teach the Bible verse by verse. My desire is to help people understand what God has said, trust Jesus Christ, and live in obedience to His Word.
Everything here grows out of that calling: opening the Scriptures, making their meaning clear, and pointing people to Christ. May God be glorified as His Word is taught and His people grow in faith.
Meet Pastor Brian
Pastor Brian Overturf
I have served as lead pastor of Arvin Assembly of God in California’s Central Valley since 2010. I’m an ordained Assemblies of God minister and the founder and an instructor at Arvin Assembly School of the Bible.
My ministry centers on the faithful teaching of Scripture, discipleship, prayer, and the life of the local church. As we work through a passage, I want us to understand its words, follow its argument, and hear its call to believe and obey.
My wife, Marcia, and I have been married since 2009, and we have a son, Noah. I also host the AL Pastor podcast, where we bring Scripture and everyday life into conversation.
